I am a very active person. I am always outdoors doing some type of activity. I love to camp, hike, mountain bike, rock climb, ski, ride the rapids, just about anything outdoors and fun to do. It was my rock climbing that caused me the most problems though.
I had never thought I would need an emergency dentist in my life. I never knew what constituted a “dental emergency.” I found out the hard way. My mate and I went into just outside of London to go rock climbing one day. Rock climbing is something we have done quite frequently. We always try to go a couple of times a year. It if fun and relaxing to be out there in the silence, scaling a natural wonder. This day started off exactly like any other. Half way through our climb there was a level spot. We stopped there to regroup ourselves, and just take time to enjoy the sights around us. It was shortly after this that I had an accident that would cause me to need an Emergency Dentist London.
Shortly after our break we started off climbing again. I was about eight feet into the air then my climbing rope slipped. It slipped just enough to throw me sideways and make me smack face first into the rock. I would have been ok, if it wasn’t for the protruding rock. I felt the instant it happened. The rock collided with my bottom lip, on the other side of my lip was my tooth. As they collided my tooth ripped through my lip, so it was just my tooth on the rock. I was a mess. My lip was pouring blood. The tooth had twisted in the gum, and I had a hole in my lip. I screamed out in pain, and my friends saw the blood and immediately cam to my aid. I was able to get my self down to the middle flat area where one of my friends took out his first aid kit to help patch my lip. We patched it the best we could. Then I took all the aspirin I could to help with the pain. Then we descended the rest of the way back down.
When we got to the ground, my friends got the car. One of my friends searched for emergency dentistry on his cell phone, and found the closest emergency dentist. We speed there and got there only a short while later. I rushed in and saw the dentist immediately. By this point the bleeding had stopped, but I still needed stitches for my lip. The dentist also had to pull the tooth. They prescribed me some pain killers, and told me to see my regular dentist to get the tooth replaced.
